Elections are conducted annually. Nominations are accepted during the first two weeks of June and voting takes place during the month of July.

National Coordinator (NC): Elected for a one year term. Must be nominated and elected each year. Every registered member has the right to vote for this position.
Representative at Large (RAL): Elected for two year term. Every registered member has the right to vote for this position.
Special Project Representative (SPAR SA, SPIP KZ, etc.): Elected for a two year term by the members of the National Special Projects.
Regional Representatives (One State Coordinator Representative and Two County Coordinator representatives for each region) are elected to two year terms. The terms for the four regions (NENC, NWPL, SEMA, SWSC) are staggered so that in each region, at least one of the three positions representing each region will be elected each year.
